Sad Boys was the first in my trilogy of tales entitled Life Amid Crisis which was inspired by the case files of a small firm of lawyers Maurice Stone & Price, set in the fictional Yorkshire town of Belfield in the industrial North.

Sad Boys was later followed by Justice Denied (2009) and the trilogy finally completed with Who Killed the Goose…? (2009)
