A TROJAN HORSE - And the enemy within
Sergeant Greenaway – alias Brownlow – has been brutally murdered. Nobody really knows who did it but Chief Superintendent Maskill has his suspicions.
He would have staked his life on Victor Pentalic being the culprit. Sent by Special Branch to infiltrate Pentalic’s shady company, Brownlow was posing as a fly-by-night… a drifter…living one day at a time. And he was a dab hand at it. He’d done it many times before…Northern Ireland, Kosovo. He was a natural, a letter day James Bond in a boiler suit perhaps?
His brief was to worm his way into Pentalic’s innermost sanctums, glean priceless information and discover details which would lead Special Branch to the perpetrators, the supply lines and whatever else was necessary to destroy these illicit schemes.
He also needed to provide Special Branch with the missing piece to Al-Qaeda’s UK operations jigsaw… and remove the tyranny that could explode full force onto London’s streets, or any UK city, at any given time.
But was it all too late?
Was Brownlow able to divulge that vital information before his last breath was snatched?
Or are the unfurling twists and turns of the investigation, which stretches from West Yorkshire Lawyers and terrorist cells to haciendas in Majorca, weaves in all kinds of additional crimes. And attracts the scrutiny of the Secret Service and MI5, going to lead the on a wild goose chase?
Until finally… matters came to a head and disaster, mayhem, death and devastation finally strikes on 7th July 2005.
In Dublin’s Fair City
It’s early March 1916 and World War I is in full swing. However, as the allied forces battle their way through the trenches and the world’s eyes are focused on the bloody events happening in France, a deadly plot threatens to destroy Ireland from the inside out. With rebellion brewing and the IRB ready to mobilise thanks to the attention of the authorities being diverted overseas, the seemingly isolated Dublin is about to face its biggest threat in modern history.
However, with the newly formed MI5 finally getting their foothold in domestic affairs, it’s up to them and them alone to squash the looming Irish rebellion before it even starts. But with resources at a minimum and only a handful of experts equipped enough to take on the rising threat, it’s going to take brilliant ingenuity and a pinch of desperation to stop an all-out war from ravaging home shores.
Set against the backdrop of the Great War, In Dublin’s Fair City presents a gripping crime story like no other. In his thrilling new historical thriller, William Blencoe spins a brutal tale of betrayal and broken loyalties bubbling in the heart of early 20th Century Dublin.
With the eyes of everyone firmly locked on the enemy abroad, the entire country has left itself wide open to an attack from a much larger threat growing from within. As paranoia rises and distrust peaks at an all-time high, the disastrous events of 1916 will kick-start a point of no return in Irish history that’ll haunt the country for decades to come.

On the Road to Damascus
Rumour has it that Jesus survived the cross and lived on. Some even say that he went on to live a normal life…that is to marry and have children. There is some evidence to support that theory.
One of the most intriguing questions is what happened to his body. It left the tomb and was resurrected…it rose to heaven along with the spirit of Christ to join the creator has been the explanation for over two thousand years,
But aren’t the body and soul separate? Isn’t our spiritual existence different than our physical being? What use would a rotting mass of flesh be the risen Christ? Very little some may say. And for God’s sake how did a ten stone mass of flesh disappear into oblivion.
We have all studied science at school…so, could this really have happened? Remember, it was God who set the ground rules for creation in the first place…the almost unchallengeable laws of physics and mathematics, which seem to govern the universe and all of creation and have done since the beginning of time trillions of years ago. So why only two thousand years ago did the Creator alter theses ground rules?
It was a miracle some may say. They may be right, who knows, none of us living today were there were we? Perhaps, there was another explanation equally as miraculous…yes, perhaps the Lord Jesus did survive the cross and live on to spread the word.

Life Amid Crisis Trilogy - Part 2 - Justice Denied
So, there you are sitting comfortably in your favourite armchair by the fire, secure in the knowledge that you live in a society where the rule of law is supreme and justice prevails, where the most vulnerable are protected and where just about everything is hunky dory.
Perhaps, you think that you live in a place where miscreants get their just deserts, where murderers and their villainous associates are inevitably caught and dragged before the courts, and then after due process, incarcerated for life...?
That is, of course, unless they have friends in the right places…or unless some political nobody, somewhere, would prefer not to rock any boats.
So, why should you care? What has it got to do with you, anyway? It’s not your problem…or is it...?
Maybe you ought to find out…?
Justice Denied is the second novel in the Life Amid Crisis trilogy, continuing the tales told from the shocking case files of small town lawyers Maurice Stone & Price.
Life Amid Crisis Trilogy - Part 1 - Sad Boys on the Rampage
Sad Boys on the Rampage is the first novel of a trilogy written about a firm of small town lawyers and the trials and tribulations they face, both professionally and personally. The partners in the firm, Maurice, Tom and Lisa are not highflyers, but ordinary folk just scratching out a living.
The stories are set in Bellfield, a small industrial town in the North of England…a place where nothing is supposed to happen…nothing exciting that is.
Not a place, you may think, when innocent young women get raped or even murdered…
More likely, it is a town without passion and probably far too parochial for such mundane things as adultery or sexual adventures of a different kind…
Don’t you believe it…William didn’t!
It all happens where you least expect…read on.
